Happy Valentine's Day!!!

And I'm going to go work with none else than chocolate. And crabby people. Oi. Fun...not.

Tomorrow, I'm going to take it easy.

Happy V-day to my antistotic )

If you come by the store, it's going to be a madhouse. I do not recommend it at all!

Oh, yes. All of my sugar cookies sold yesterday at the bake sale! And...everyone at work liked their cookies! Everyone. :)

Yesterday was a very long day. The rain didn't help, and last night, I had the startings of literally the worst migraine I've EVER had. I felt like I was going to puke. Not a good feeling when one has a headache. Needless to say, I went to bed early. And I got up at 830, no vestiges of a headache, let alone a migraine, and ready to take on the world! Okay, maybe not that last part. I've just been exhausted both emotionally and physically. Emotionally, because, being an empath, I make connections with people, whether I like it or not. Physically, well, being on one's feet for seven to eight hours at a time...um, yes, 'nuff said.

Good...time to ramble-ramble on....I've always wanted an extraordinary life. My life's dream was (still is) to be an actress of stage and screen, and if not that, costume design. I've wanted to make my mark on this world.

Two nights ago, while I was taking the trash from work out to the dumpster, the sky was lit up in this beautiful azure-cobalt with a slip of a fingernail moon. I wanted to take a picture of that, and if it turned out well, send it in somewhere. How about that for mark on the world?!

Anyway, I've started to realise that everyone makes a mark on the world. Some are like wrecking balls to hardened clay, making their mark so strong that it destroys a part of the world's soul. Others, make a mark like dragging a feather through sand, so delicately, that people don't see what they've done until they're gone. And others, yes, others, make the best mark of all (IMHO), a pebble hitting water, so that it radiates and reverberates for years and years and and thousands have an impact made. And that's what I want, especially when I start teaching.

Okay.

I'm done.

Later days, all...

From several:
If you woke up and I was in bed with you, what would be your first thought?
(Now post this in your LJ and find out what mine would be)
