work gripes...
Feb. 17th, 2005 11:27 amWow. Just...wow.
It's been a short and a long week all in well, one week.
Valentine's Day, I made over $2000 by myself. The store brought in over $5000. It's insane, I tell you.
jedusor and the the One Without Pants (hee hee) came in to say hello. Let me tell you, it was a madhouse, and it wasn't just men, either. Next year, people, don't wait until the last minute. The same goes for holiday. Just don't. It makes people in retail whiny and bitchy and stressed out and trust me, this country does not need more people on antidepressants.

Anyway...
I had my day off Tuesday. Yay. That was...um...boring. I made Jello custard desserts, which really arent't that hard, and they taste pretty good.
Wednesday was...oh joy. It was busy, but it was the draining type of busy, not the energizing type. In addition, we had a woman who bought strawberries two days before she was to serve them, and then brought them to us because of their condition. People, strawberries only last twenty-four hours, if that. And don't argue with me. I've been working with Godiva for almost two years. I know what works and what doesn't. Ugh.

I don't have to go in today until 5:30, but I have to pick up my cheque and pay off the school (joy), so I'll be leaving sometime soon to do that.
Later days, all...
