I'm sick.

Again.

Work stress seems to do this to me, so I have a feeling I'll be looking for a new job in the next few weeks, and preferably a desk job, at that. I really don't want to. I've got a decent job, but then again, I can't get sick. I'm sick of it. Really.

But I digress.

Our SCA contact group (Braddyville, Iowa) exploded in size over the past month. We went from three to about fifteen, so darnit, Arihiro needs to get a hold of me, and soon. Immediately. We are now at the point of being able to do stuff, which is exciting, but I've not heard anything from the contact list guru, so I'm somewhat at a loss.

I'm also working on my Halloween costume. I'm wanting to be a fairy. A rose fairy. In China, it is believed that fairies carry the perfume of flowers. In Western mythology, the rose is seen as the queen of the flowers. I had made a circlet, already, and I've got to make some small changes to it so it fits better, and I'm in the process of making wings. I'm a bit at a loss for figuring out what I'm going to do for the actual costume itself, but I'm thinking red.

If you have any ideas, drop them my way.

Well, the wings, in terms of construction, are done, for the most part.

I now have to paint them, add some fishing line so they stay the way I want them, and then, make my costume.

But what really sucks is that I have to get an alternative costume for work.

They're that massive.
