Oct. 3rd, 2006 11:38 pmI called in to work today.
Where was the crazy red-haired tortilla lady?
At the doctor's office.
My foot has swollen about 25% of the size that it should be. Walking is EXTREMELY painful. So, I went in, got poked, prodded, radiated (x-rays...whee), and blood removed for the rheumatoid test that's inevitable.
I'm glad that the doc knew that my symptoms (such as morning stiffness, and my really puffy knuckles and even my fatigue) matched up with the RA symptoms, and ordered the test...but, now I have to wait until Thursday for the results.
As for my foot, I'm on cephalexin (high powered antibiotic, and a lot of it) hoping that it's a subdermal skin infection (so says Dr Holly)of some kind that's causing the blown-up foot.
We'll see, and I'll keep y'all apprised of the situation.
