So, Jib blamed me for the last bit of homework for the Household. Here's what he wrote:

"You all can blame your Sister, Constantia, for this assignment. Many people know that gift giving for Kings & Queens, Princes & Princesses, and sometimes Barons & Baronesses is often made easy by sharing Their likes and dislikes, Their wishes and whims.

"Well, your assignment is to pretend you're in a role where people may be serving you food, or presenting you with a personal gift, or making largesse for you to distribute, or where you get to set the tone of an event.

"What are your likes and dislikes? What is your persona and what are your heraldic colors? What garb styles do you like or dislike? What kinds of things do you like as tokens? What things do you want to see more or less of at events?

"This is your chance to pretend you've got the power and can share your wishes and whims with the world. [[And hey...this is great fodder for the Family to help them out if they should ever start plotting evil things and decide to make personalized Twelfth Night or birthday gifts. *hint hint*]]

So, I now have belle qui tiens ma vie, which is the tune for the Carolingian dances, stuck in my head. Not surprising, it's after listening to it...ad nauseum. To be fair, it's a lovely piece, and I really need to get the music and write mandolin tabs for it, because it's really quite lovely.

My back and hip have given me some issues lately, so I've had to lay off the one woman dance practices for a while. I would probably fain to guess that it's due to the barometric pressure changing, but seriously, it's driving me nuts.

Now, does anyone know the details for Raid or Trade? They're not up on the Calontir website, and I'd certainly like to see if I can afford to go up there before I get others too much more involved than they are.

Jib assigned me more homework. Look up the Game of Goose. So I did. Not initially familiar with it, I've realised I've played it before. Goose is essentially Mario Party. The original.

So, I think I may have another project up my sleeves. Making a folding, portable Goose game board. Paint it ups, and then, maybe submit it for an A&S competition.

Thoughts? Ideas? Am I totally insane for coming up with this?
