Spent the day sick. I'm still a little headachy, and I napped most of the day, but I think I might be getting better.

Who wants to bring out the dead cart? :P

The Mac is a great little toy. And, I love that I can actually sit and watch TV if I wanted to. Or go to game and have it ready to go and transmit covert messages around the room. Hee hee hee. I uploaded iJournal so I could update LJ, and in some ways, this helps. Not sure how it helps, but it does. Now, to get the POP client for Hotmail working. Oi. And finding a good IRC client. I'm using Adium for an IM client, but there aren't any IRC options for that. So, if you are aware of an IRC client for Mac, please let me know.

Lessee. Oh. Filters.

Most of you (and by most, I mean the ones that actually read and comment on this thing), have stated that you don't want filters. All right. That works. Makes my life a little easier. No filters, then. (Except for the SCA directed one for when I have SCA-related questions for people who actually know.) You'll see friends-locked stuff, but that may be the extent of my filtering, as I do think I should be able to share things with people without having to share them with the entire damn planet.

Meanwhile. Back to the Mac. I've discovered I can edit the movies my camera takes, so I might actually be on YouTube more, making stupid comments like, "My name is Kunta. Kunta Kinte," when I dye my hair red again.

I think I got pulled into helping with Crystal Ball. Not that I mind, because I don't. I'll be helping Arina teach dance. As long as she picks the easy ones, I think we may be good.

Silly notes from the Coronation event. purplellamaboi has it in him to think I'd be a wonderful book herald. This we know. Well, at the event, I got asked by a ton of people if I'm in Leatherwolf. I thought I screamed that I was a member of the Compagnia, not Leatherwolf?! Ha. Guess I'm going to keep people guessing then, huh? (For those outside of Calontir, House Leatherwolf is a heraldry-based household. The Compagnia is the start of an adult page school, at least, that's what Jib's been saying as of late.) I mean, I did shout "go!" really loudly for each individual match with Hunkerhausen (except mine, because that would have been wrong), but I didn't think that screamed Leatherwolf. Oh, and calling Jib Bro might have, too. Dunno.

The point is, I haven't been playing long enough to really become involved with the household structure that the SCA has. Not that I mind. I'm enough of a pacifist to avoid the political machinations. Or I try to. Sometimes, it just doesn't help. Sometimes it does.

Anyway. I feel the need to sleep some more...maybe.
