Me and my Byzantine self...in photos!
Jan. 9th, 2009 08:24 pmSo, my mom did a kickass job picking out small bits to go with my garb. See that shawl? She hadn't seen my garb until I got home two days before Christmas. I would say she did far too well for her own good.
As for the garb itself. The pearls are affixed...but I really need to straighten them out...which I'll be able to do once my garb comes back to me. Yep, it got left in Omaha, on site. Matsu did say that he would try to pick it up and then deliver it at War Maneuvers (man, I prefer British Standard...but enough), so I'm hoping to get it back soon.
As for the rest of it, I need to decorate the clavi, but I'm not sure how I want to go about that. I'm a little sick of beading right now. My head still hurts from the pearling, and I got that done a few weeks ago. But anyway.
I'm all stinky. And I'm not looking forward to working tomorrow, but eh. It happens. I'm thinking about going to Chieftains. Could be a ton of fun, and I think it'd be a great event to go to.
