OMG. I had the most amazing time at Lilies. Fair warning, though, this post may end up being so incredibly name-droppy it's not even funny. Then again, it is like [livejournal.com profile] baronnemelisend's Romper Room, too. :)

Got in Tuesday morning after staying the night at my parents' house Monday (my mom is awesome and gave me all sorts of camping goodies). Set up camp, and proceeded to do everything, seemingly. I danced quite a bit Tuesday, and then explored much of site (so I wouldn't get lost throughout the week. If I don't get a chance to explore first, I will get lost. That's not a good thing.) and hung out with bards and heralds and dancers, oh my.

Wednesday was the day of the Lilies Ball. And OMG. FUN. Combat Petit Riens, Tangle Bransle with [livejournal.com profile] huscarl105 leading the way, and one of my favourites: "Dancers, are we met?" The normal response is "Well met." We're Calontir. We went: "HIIIII!" That was all from Shattered Crystal's Ball Monday night (that I missed, but it's okay and it happens). I'm ready for more balls and dances and other sorts of dancing fun. I also made a recording for Calon Sound Project, and had a blast doing so. After this, the days started to blend in a bunch, so, I'm getting rid of the day demarcation. I can't remember what happened when. I just remembered that I did things.

I headed out and hung out with heralds and took classes. And hung out more with Leatherwolf. I can't remember what else I did, but I do recall hanging out at Three Rivers' party after the fireworks (a ton of fun! I squee'd like a girl a bunch). I also went to the Cut and Thrust demo. To be honest, I'm still in the middle of deciding how I feel about rapier in Calontir. I see both sides of the conflict, and I have deep respect for those on both sides of the debate. I made my first batch of lampwork beads. I was a bit of a slow turtle, but once I got the hang of it, I think I did pretty well, and I'm going to have to make more when I have access to a torch again. Day of Dance as sponsored by Trimaris was also fun (and if anyone has an extra token, please let me know. I thought I grabbed one, but I can't find it anywhere, and those are all sorts of pretty.)

Mikal the Ram's boat burning made me bawl like a baby. I wish had the opportunity to meet him, but there was a reason (as cruel as it sounds) for him to be spirited away before I had the chance to.

Bacon Bender with the Outlands. NINE POUNDS OF BACON. It was bad, especially since it was passed around opium den-style, and the platters of bacon and bacon related product kept coming. Part of the reason I didn't sleep Saturday night/Sunday. His Majesty Outlands walked me back to camp so I'd be safe, even though I wasn't that far away.

I am in awe of Drx's new song. I adore it, even if it does make me cry like a baby without candy. Must. Sing. More.

All right, the namedropping part, in alphabetical order:

[livejournal.com profile] adhemarchartres - So good to finally meet you in person!
[livejournal.com profile] baronalejandro - So much fun at Three Rivers' party. Must hang out again and soon.
[livejournal.com profile] baronnemelisend - You so totally made my Lilies rock. *hug*
[livejournal.com profile] chiara607 - I know we didn't hang out much, but I still had a blast with you and Zino.
[livejournal.com profile] eaglesaerie - We should so not be allowed to dance Combat Petit Riens together. Ever.
[livejournal.com profile] egrimsson - Thank you for keeping an eye out on me, health-wise. Yes, I know it's part of the that Chirurgeon thing, but thank you.
[livejournal.com profile] elasait - Thank you for letting me be all excited puppy dog whilst in camp. I sometimes forget to turn it off.
[livejournal.com profile] eleanor_deyeson - I'm so sorry I didn't get the beads to you, but I'm so glad that I at least got to see you at War. And I am so proud of Becca. :)
[livejournal.com profile] evil_fionn - ENCAUSTIC! Thank you for lighting the fire under my ass about the class. I've already asked for candle warmers for my birthday. And sliced olive cans. :D
[livejournal.com profile] holme - I love singing Savage Daughter with you. Had so much fun.
[livejournal.com profile] huscarl105 - Thank you so much for everything you did (and put up with) just to bring me to war. I am in your debt.
[livejournal.com profile] kampfrau - Congrats, Sister (and now Cousin)! We'll figure out another time to get shineys to me.
[livejournal.com profile] ld_hrothgar - Loved hanging out with you and Amba. Will have to do more soon.
[livejournal.com profile] newcastleepl - *poke* Still my left arm until that document is signed. :P
[livejournal.com profile] okobojii - Had a blast hanging out with you. And watching the trim get made. Tablet weaving's fascinating to watch, and you're fantastic at it.
[livejournal.com profile] ruaidhriprime - Had so much fun hanging with you at the Harp. Glad I got to see you at war, all things considered.
[livejournal.com profile] sanneb - Thank you for bringing me to war and for all of the goodies. I got so many compliments on my amber necklace.
[livejournal.com profile] scooterheather - Beads! Thank you so much for them! And I'm so glad you like your necklace. :)
[livejournal.com profile] sinistraltyger - Sis! I wish we hung out more! But I loved your class (and I plan on using it in the future, too).
[livejournal.com profile] spikedearheart - I'm so glad you were at War. I hope you had a blast.
[livejournal.com profile] summersdream - We are dangerous together. But I love you and I'm so glad we finally had a war all together.

Thank you to all!

For those of you who are in the SCA, but either don't read CalonList or just haven't heard, Viscount Syr Ternon, [livejournal.com profile] ranjtheobscure, was found dead in his home. I have no details.

I have no other words other than my tears.
