Feb. 14th, 2010 07:16 pmShow’s over.
Thanks for the Mammaries raised $280 for the Komen Foundation. While mine didn’t go for much (just $20), I can live with this, as they’ll more than likely go to the Children and Family Center of Northwest Missouri and might end up on their walls. Works for me. In fact, I’m rather happy about this - I would rather them go for $20 and then go to a charity that goes to help those who need the empowerment, than to someone who paid $60 and just stashed them somewhere.
I’m pleased, all things considered, with how the show went this year. Even though we put it together in less than three weeks (the thought alone’s crazy), we learned a lot on the way. And I’m proud of our cast.
In general, I like being a part of this. I really do.
