It's a meme!

-I'll respond by asking you five questions to satisfy my curiosity.
-Update your journal with the answers to your questions.
-Include this explanation and offer to ask other people questions, if you're so inclined.

Answering questions from [livejournal.com profile] wulfsdottir:

1. What is your favorite appetizer? I really like things like chips and artichoke dip or guacamole or cheese, though it's hard to turn down anything with bacon.

2. If someone offered to pay all your expenses for a year in exchange for a year's worth of art from you, what would you make? Depends on what they wanted out of me, and what access I had to supplies. I'd probably make jewellery and paint and sculpt...and you might be seeing why it's sort of hard for me to pick just one bit of art.

3. Board games or field games? When I was a kid, I loved field games. I still love Capture the Flag (and I'm pretty good at it, too), but my knees don't. I can still practice my inner general with Risk, though, so I suppose it isn't so bad.

4. Are there books on your shelves that are more for affecting how others think about your collection than for your enjoyment of them? Nope. If it's on my shelf, it's because I've read it and I want to be able to read it again. If people form an opinion based on the books I read, I think it's shallow of them to think that. I read a lot, and across genres, too.

5. If you lived in a pre-industrial village, what would your occupation be? I have a sneaking suspicion I'd be the shaman or the healing woman. My grandmother has a lot of that sort of thing going (dude, I don't even have to -tell- her that my back hurts, because she's working on it and knows where the spot is that needs the most work), and there has to be some sort of genetic link if I can do it, too.
