It's rather exciting, the prospects of not working this summer.

antistotic bought me a pair of the shoes with the wheels in the heels. I can skate and walk! How cool is that? Oddly enough, they fit my big ol' clodhoppin' feet. I'm totally excited about that. The boys seemed disappointed that they couldn't buy any to fit them, though. Now, I have to master the skate and walk. Walking I can do, skating, well, that may have issues.
And please, someone remind me to not wear shoes like that around Dorcas, or else, I may find myself pushed about a dancefloor singing "O Sole Mio!"
In the world of concussion-land, I'm doing fairly well. No headache...just a wee bit of wooziness.
Meanwhile, Chance the Wonder Pooch is reaching the end of his mortal coil, and will be put down when Mom gets her paychecque. As much as I hate euthanising pets (or anything, for that matter), my parents made a good case for it: it's a matter of quality versus quantity of life. Bah.
So, I guess I get to make the choice of Crown or getting closure with my puppy. ARGH.
