Oi. Yesterday was A LONG DAY. So was Monday, but for completely different reasons.

Monday...

HRMPITA (after being taken down a few notches by the District Manager) had difficulties getting to work, so I was called (by him, no less) in, and worked that day getting things ready for the visit by the district and regional manager (who, I find out, is STUCK in the wonderful Omaha fog at the airport!), so...yeah. Fun. Ever hear of cold and dreary days? That was Monday, completely. Didn't want to get out of bed at all. But eh, work wasn't bad.

Yesterday was NOT FUN.

Cleancleancleancleanclean. Ick. All day. I dipped some fruit, but let's just say that after putting in eight hours, of lifting and cleaning and dusting and mopping and sweeping and helping customers ($444, baby!) I went home, checked my email, and went to bed. And sleep was good. So good. Oi. My joints still hurt. Did I mention we also got a shipment in, too? Yes, had to deal with that, too! Yay...not.

So yes, the visit is today. The store SPARKLES and SHINES like a bad household cleaning aid commercial or something. And it is done.

PHEW.

We need a martini. Ugh.

TIRED.

You might be interested in a community called christianfaire It's for Christians in both the SCA or the Ren Faire world. The issues of seeming like the odd person out because of your faith are pretty much the same. It's run by someone on my friends list.
