My pastor called this morning, and told me how much was in for the Columbus trip.
We're talking $325! Total answer to prayer, and totally good reason for a new icon. :P
Feel free to gank, but just let me know, yo.
Anyway...I need about $400 more just to cover the rest of my bases.
My mother, my brother, and a friend from their church is sending money (yay!), so I'm getting a lot closer to having very few money issues hanging over my head.
Thank you, everyone who's praying! I am very thankful to your actions.
My eBay auctions sold, but not for much. I sad. :P But I'm glad they sold.
That being said, I'm not sure if I want to stay local, or go global.
So here's the sitch.
I'll do more auctions, provided I know that people will actually try and bid. Three bids on two objects is...well, not a way to make money.
I'll also probably try and sell at SCA events in Calontir.
And yes, I'll open it up to custom pieces. And do the whole consigning thing with one of the local shops here in the 'Ville.
Oh, yes.
My hair is strawberry red now.
It's supposed to be fire engine, but I used a combination of two dyes on my hair, and one's a little too blue for my liking. But it's all good. I'm pleased with how intense it is. And I love how cheap this stuff is. Now, to get more. Oh yes. Especially before General Convention.
Did I mention I'm my mother's "special" child?
