Okay.

I just received a call from home.

My step-sister in Oklahoma's just been raped, by who we think is her boyfriend. She's in custody of DFS, thankfully, but that doesn't change anything. We also think this will get her out of her mother's custody. I am incensed. It's my sister, and this is something that's simply isn't acceptable.

Please pray/send thoughts/light candles/do something.

We're watching and waiting.

I got a call a few minutes ago from my parents.  Apparently my stepsister was not raped once, but twice, by a man her mother allowed to move into their house.  What is stopping these people from being convicted is my stepsister's either inability or all-out refusal to answer who was involved.  We are to understand that if my stepsister answers who the perps are, we have the issue of her mother's wrath.  We also are led to understand that if my stepsister doesn't answer, the perps go unpunished.

Please continue to pray for justice, for courage for my stepsister, and for patience on those who are stuck watching.
