Hey. First time I've ever listened to voice posts. The hardest part was making the kids be quiet to hear them.
Congrats on the craft shows. VBS sounds like fun. I like the Rodeo Rachel idea. Or you could make something out of your middle name if you want to create a different persona and don't want to use Rachel.
So. Um. I've been meaning to friend you since...a very long time, I don't know why I haven't yet, seeing as we're both SCAdian and there's actually a (relatively low, but still) possibility we may have met at some point.
With as small as my world's gotten, it's not really a surprise. Sadly, I've only made it to a Barony Pop. meeting (when I lived in KC), a handful of Shire meetings, a Lilies attempt (unfortunately, karma had other plans), and a Spring Coronation. My SCA experience is so limited that I don't think it would have been there if we had met, unless you hang out with Modar's household.
As for the welcoming part, welcome! :D (boy, was that redundant!) I'm waiting on my laptop to get here, so for the time being, it's a handful of voice posts lately, but I'll hopefully get back on track when I have a machine of my own to work with on my time. :D
I'm not sure we've actually met, but we definitely have mutual friends -- stolisomancer is a close friend of my sister and her fiance, and I heart Alpais. If you see him before I do, which is highly likely, tell him Zara says hi. :) (I've met Modar a couple of times, but he knows my fiance better.)
Who doesn't heart Alpais? Seriously...the man's a teddy bear, and I love Theresa, too.
I have met your sister through Evil, and stoliomancer was (is, perhaps) considered Bizzaro Me and vice versa. It's a little on the creepy side, too.

I was introduced to Modar through my friend Jibr'il (purplellamaboi, and then further got introduced when I opened my mouth a bit too wide and said I was interested in vocal heraldry (I'm so screwed!). That's what I get for being a loudmouth.
