zephyrofgod: (Sick)

Yep, I'm still sick.

My biggest fear is if it's the superbug. What a lot of you may not know, is that I have staph-induced psoriasis. I just got done with a really bad psoriasis flare, and I'm hedging my bets towards a staph flare. Blech. All I know is that I've had a five-day long headache, I'm totally off my feed, my stomach hurts, I'm sleeping all the time, and my back is killing me more so than normal. I'm going into the doc's tomorrow, and hopefully will find out what the hell is wrong.

I'm personally thinking it's viral meningitis (which is slightly nicer than bacterial meningitis) or the stomach flu, but the puzzle pieces aren't fitting in quite right for the flu.

I just want to get better, and inasmuch as I hate work, I really do miss doing something useful.

Please pray for healing of some kind. I just want to get better, and get back to some idea of normalcy.

It is most likely not meningitis. I saw meningitis reduce a 16 year old boy to tears. 16 year old boys do not cry in front of women strangers (especially not ones looking like I did then). This is how much pain meningitis causes.

Oh, and there is no such thing as a stomach flu. Influenza does not make you nausseated or vomit. It is essentially a type of upper respiratory infection with sore throat and aches and pains.

Hopefully you just have some random virus and your body will shake it off in another day or two.

I hope you feel better soon. You are in my prayers. And sorry I am such a medical geek.

I've been out a week, so I think it's slightly more serious than just a random bug...all I know is that I'm sick of being sick and having migraines every day for that week of time.

Blech.
