I had a relapse. Of EBV. And I might end up losing my job over it because of being sick so long and so many times.

Dadnabbit.

And meds are expensive.

Thankfully, I'm on cheap stuff, after I called and stated that $92 was too much of an out of pocket expense for meds, no matter how good they are.

Most pharmaceutical companies recognize that medications are both prohibitively expensive and necessary for life for some people. So they very often have programs to make sure that people that can't afford the meds but NEED them still get them. Figure out who makes each of your meds and go to that company's website and see if you qualify.

If you don't know who makes a specific drug feel free to ask me to look it up.

This. I just renewed my PAP for Humira, and it's a good thing, too.

It would be nice if I could actually believe that they're doing this out of any human sense of kindness. Of course since they're all publicly traded companies, they have absolutely no reason at all to even think about such petty things as "human kindness," beyond what PR demands, and instead focus on the profit margin per share for the next quarter. This is a pittance to keep the public from demanding government oversight that might actually, you know, result in affordable prices, or any actual regulation of drug companies.
