Day one: Tournament A&S Entry

I got my A&S entry for Marshal pencilled out. It's based on a lot of illuminations, and while I've got it basically ready to go, it's still got a lot of work.

I'm taking out the fence, shifting the gallery over, and adding borders to the sides. Additionally, the people in the foreground are being replaced by spears (unless I find something else to replace them with).

I'll take any ideas anyone might have. And because I know acrylic, I'm painting in it, but I may make a move to oil eventually.

Because I'm a pesky perfectionist. And I really want to strive for making this as good as I possibly can.

See, this is why I like to have another set of eyes look at it.

It could have been, actually. My sources were mixed (I really need to look at getting more medieval art books), and what I saw from one could have been later than I intended it to be.
