I have been asking myself this question for a couple of years now. ;-) I figure the phase will last until someone finds the bodies of the other cool kids I buried to get here. Muwhahhahahahahaha!!!!
Truthfully... it happened when you started having too much fun to worry about being cool.
I have a secret. I have not met one single cool kid in the SCA. Luckily, everyone has been wonderfully awkward and irritating and natural and beautiful, in their own way.
My other response to this? DUDE-you're a cool kid? They'll let just *anyone* in these days! :oP
