zephyrofgodCorazon Aquino was one of my political heroes, taking down an oppressive government with the work of her people, and winning.
I realise that winning doesn't always happen. And sometimes, it's unnecessary. And then, there are times it's darn cool.
I suppose I'm a geek for grokking the whole political thing (I know, I don't talk about it much. I like policy-making, I hate politics, if that makes sense), but man, Cory Aquino was one of the coolest women leaders out there.
Goodbye, Cory. Please let future leaders, both men and women, learn from your example of how to treat others.
